The brief for this kitchen renovation project was simple: to elevate its design and achieve a modern farmhouse aesthetic that doesn’t drift too far from the existing residence. We envisioned a kitchen space that reflected clean, bespoke, and contemporary ideals. The problem with the old kitchen lay primarily in the dim atmosphere, outdated finishes, and abundance of open shelving where clutter was easily left exposed. One way of concealing the disorder was to introduce as many doors in the cabinetry as possible. We also used a neutral color palette that proves to be timeless in the years to come. Lastly, window openings were added and enlarged, as well, to allow as much natural light into the space.
